I write paranormal romance. My first book is coming out with Red Rose Publishing on December 17, 2009. I live in Texas.

Likes

I like writing, reading, travel. If I chose any other career I’d be bellydancer. I love Korean food, but alas, the good stuff is all the way in Dallas. Korean food will be featured in my book, if that scene isn’t cut for some reason. And sushi. Actually I’d really like some sushi right now. I have a sick obession with coffee. Drink it, snort it, shoot it. I’ll take it anyway I can. I’ve also got this weird thing about office supplies. I love office supplies, and I think I need everything I see. I love ancient history, and I’ve got a lot of books dedicated to the subject.

Dislikes

I hate rude people, but I’m sure no one likes rude people. I hate American Idol (sorry to any fans of the show).

Books and Authors

I read what I write, so a lot of paranormal romance. I like Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyon Kenyon, Lora Leigh, Maggie Shayne, Charlaine Harris. I’m into a lot of erotic science fiction lately by Angela Knight and Morgan Hawke. Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is one of my favorite books. It’s paranormal YA.

Music

I listen to a lot of different stuff, but mainly rock. Currently I’m listening to Rage Against the Machine. Earlier it was Dope. I love The Offspring, Collide, Disturbed, Imogen Heap. There’s a lot more, and as they come to me I’ll add them here.

Movies and Television

Since I’m Daddy’s little girl I like a lot of action movies. Die Hard, The Rock, ConAir, and I was raised on Terminator. we’ve got me on tape yelling at the characters to run as the Terminator comes after them. I must have been like three. And, no, it never gave me nightmares. I love comedy, too. That 70′s Show is a favorite. While most people consider Girlmor Girls drama, I don’t. It’s one of the funniest shows out there. I also like sci-fi. Star Trek, Stargate, and I strongly believe that they never should have canceled Firefly. And no, you don’t have to be a Trekkie to enjoy Star Trek. For some reason everyone thinks that. It’s a quality show, and I like things that are good.

Pets

I have one cat named Salem, and he hates it when I write. It makes things every interesting. Apparently he doesn’t like me working on this website either…

Weird Extra Stuff

My food can’t touch on my plate. I take great pains to make sure it doesn’t. So if you ever have dinner with me or see me at a buffet and I’m cursing quietly as my food slides together, you know why. And yes, I know there’s medication for that. I like to eat the frosting off cake before I eat the cake part. I also wear my socks inside out, because I don’t like the crazy, fuzzy insides that most socks have.
